Although I work in finance, I’m typically on a tight budget. The reality is; there’s never enough money to explore all of the areas of art that we’d like to try, my desire to experiment has lead me down a few less traditional paths when I’m feeling artsy. Ever on the look out for inspiration for all manner of frugal art, I wanted to create a space for artist to share their wares and strategies to make art possible in their lives. I want to encourage creativity in everyone, it has been my therapy, my entertainment, and my friend over my entire life. Let’s learn from each other.

I’m just a woman in my 40’s, trying to eek out a little fun utilizing my creative juices. I’ve always enjoyed arting, re-purposing, decorating, writing, painting murals, doodling, really whatever struck my fancy at the time, I got that from my late mother. I did briefly study commercial art in college, but my skills are far from polished. I make messes, mistakes, happy accidents, and I make my life better through creating.

I enjoy surrounding myself with all types of people and have been lucky that many are creative types themselves. I’m hoping to showcase the talents of artists and creators and even work along side some as quarantine lifts, sharing progress of these projects along the way.

I’m looking to share your projects along side my own randomness, hopefully moving each other to explore new options and ideas along the way. Enjoy my coffee-fueled-broke-girl endeavor to squeeze out our creative juices together.
